Long time no dance

It's been a couple of weeks since I last posted, so here's a little update. Dance class is not one of Hailey's favorite things to do. After three times we're still working on joining the group. I should have known better! She loves it when it's just her and Hannah but once the others arrive she becomes quite shy. I figured getting there early would give her some time to warm up to the idea, but that hasn't worked yet. This morning I think she must have said "I don't want to go to dance class" about 50 times. You wouldn' t know it from these pictures though. Hannah and her pigtails have no reservations about dance class!

Do a little dance, get down tonight

Bright and early tomorrow morning, we start Hailey's first dance class. And yes, I said "we". Apparently it's a Parent & tot class. I don't know if that mean I have to wear a bodysuit too or maybe just - don't drop your kid off and leave. I guess we'll soon find out! I hope I don't have to dance but whatever it takes to get her involved is worth it. No more sitting in front of the tube on Saturday's for Hailey! Good bye Dora, hello creative dance class.

New year, new paint

With the start of 2007, we decided it was time to get rid of the burgundy in the livingroom/kitchen/dining area/entry. What a job it has turned out to be for my painters. Meanwhile I've been picking out new pictures, accessories, curtains and I can't wait to get everything in place. By the end of today the painting should be complete with the last coat on the last two walls. If anyone is ever looking for a good paint that covers dark burgundy without a primer in just two coats, go to Wilkins Building Supplies or any store that supplies Para paints. There's my plug for the day.

Baby turns 3!

It's so hard to believe that our baby girl has turned three on December 30th 2006. I'm late with the update, but better late than never. We had a small party with a few little friends this year. Played pin the tale on the donkey - which by the way was a big hit with Hailey's little friend Eric. We did a craft, had some cake and ice cream and then we headed out to the Delta for a night of fun. (with the kids of course).
